This painting is part of my riparian coastal area inspired series.

The coastal walk south from Lennox Head toward Ballina is a source of inspiration in my work. Along the cliff edges and riparian corridors, diverse vegetation communities unfold—Banksia and Eucalyptus woodlands, open grasslands, and paperbark Melaleuca habitats shaped by wind, salt and light. Reed Warblers dart through the wetlands and woodland margins, bringing movement and fleeting life to the landscape. My work responds to these layered ecologies, translating the textures, rhythms and quiet vitality of this place into image.
